AS400 Server Training Programs
Although personal computer users often change their hardware every few years, enterprise customers enjoy using tried-and-true solutions, like IBM's AS400 server series, because of their proven reliability in a corporate environment.Although the AS400 has gone through updates and name changes since its debut in 1988, this mid-level computing platform powers some of the world's best-known businesses.
Although iSeries, the successor to the AS400 can run many popular business applications, many legacy clients rely on certified AS400 professionals to maintain equipment and to program custom software. Many AS400 courses focus on IBM's proprietary operating system for the series. AS400 training programs also include modules on the proprietary hardware included in iSeries servers, as well as the ways that clients often mix and match versions of the hardware to meet their own needs.
