Embrace Your Inner Techie with CCNA Training
If you're already working in the field, Cisco certification brings rewards to you, your managers and the organization you work for.
CCNA is one of Cisco's career path certifications, at the associate level. Once you've attained CCNA certification you've shown an apprentice-level understanding of networking. CCNA certifications are valid for three years and then you need to re-qualify, which requires testing again or taking an exam to certify at a higher level.
If you're interested in CCNA certification, you should consider taking a course, either online or not, to prepare you for the test. A CCNA course will teach you network engineering including the fundamental principles of network theory and technologies and what makes the Internet work. You'll also take a look at networking technologies as they relate to routers, switches, and firewalls.
In a CCNA course you'll also
- learn the fundamentals of network theory and the TCP/IP Protocol Stack;
- learn data networking fundamentals and network device functionality;
- learn aspects of Internetwork Operating System and how to interpret IOS displays;
- learn how to implement, configure and operate a Cisco switch;
- learn central network engineering disciplines such as network security and troubleshooting.
