Should I wait for Microsoft 7 or get Vista?

Hello,

So, I'm in the process of upgrading my Operating System. I'm trying to decide whether I should go ahead and upgrade to Vista or just wait half a year and get Windows 7. What your guys experience with Vista. I seem to hear alot of complaints, but part of me thinks its just Microsoft bashing.

Windows 7 is going to be released on Oct. 22nd.

It's a faster OS than Windows XP and Vista. =)

I heard Microsoft is going to be offering a free upgrade to Microsoft 7 for people who purchase a new computer with Vista in the next few months. Has anyone else heard about this and do you know how I can take advantage of this?

Yes that is true, you will be able to upgrade for free from Vista to Windows 7:
